Excellent resistance against strong oxidizing agents,
Hot contaminated mineral acids,
Solvent in chlorine and media contaminated by chlorine (organic and inorganic), dry chloride acid, formic acid, acetic hydride solutions, sea water solutions, and saline solution.
High ductility
Corrosive resistance even in temperature range of 650-1040° Celsius.
Alloy C-4 is resistant against the formation of grain boundary carbides and can be used in most without heat treatment after welding.
